Deep Creek (K-5th Grade)

Children's Ministry

Rooted in God’s Love and Truth

Join us in our  Deep Creek space for K-5th Grade!

Children's doors open at 10:20a.m. for our 10:30a.m. service.

Check-In is available at 10:05a.m. where your child(ren) will receive a name tag with a security number for you.

Save the matching parent security tag to show your child's small group leader at the end of service for Check-Out.

Your child will first be greeted by their grade level small group leader for a BELONG time.

Next, they will go to large group for worship and Bible teaching in our BELIEVE time.

Then, they will go back to small group huddles for their BELIEVE and BECOME activities and discussion.

Our Mission: To make resilient disciples of Jesus.

Our children's ministry team walks alongside kids to see them:

  • Belong in God’s caring family.
  • Believe in Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
  • Become more like Jesus and grow in the Word of God.

Vision

As we guide children through worship, engaging Bible teaching, and small group community in a safe and clean environment, we pray for them to be rooted in Christ and God’s Word, satisfied, strong, and flourishing in this challenging world!

In Deep Creek, we picture children thriving as Psalm 1 describes…

“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.”   -Psalm 1:1-3

This Month's UNIT TITLE is "EXTRAORDINARY"

Beyond a good science experiment, Jesus is truly extraordinary—nothing and no one in this world compares to Him! He often surprises us in unexpected ways, showing up in moments we least expect with love, power and grace that go beyond anything we’ve ever known. His words, miracles and compassion set Him apart from everyone else. Jesus isn’t just extraordinary in what He does—He invites us into an extraordinary relationship with Him, one filled with purpose, hope, and unmatched love.

THIS MONTH’S BIBLICAL THEME  IS: JESUS IS LORD OF ALL
Jesus is Lord of all—over rules, nature, people and even time itself. Jesus prioritized people over societal expectations, met earthly needs and broke through household tasks to draw people towards Himself. Alongside His humanity, Jesus also revealed His true divine nature on the mountaintop proving that we can trust Him as our Savior.

Monthly Memory Verse: So that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow...and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:10–11)
